Erin Kaeli Green offers violin and viola lessons in Portland, Oregon.
Erin received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Portland State University, where she studied with Carol Sindell. She is also certified in Suzuki Book 1 and Kodály Level 1.
Erin studied the Suzuki Method as a young violinist and has a solid foundation in classical techniques. Additionally, growing up in Southern Illinois Erin discovered a passion for fiddle and bluegrass music. Upon winning 3rd place after entering her first fiddle contest at age eleven, she fell in love with fiddling and competed for five years in Illinois, Missouri, and Kentucky, winning many trophies and awards and often placing 1st.
Erin combines teaching the Suzuki Method as well as cultivating a love of all genres of music in her students. Because of her enjoyment of fiddle music, she loves to incorporate fiddle tunes into her student's repertoire of music, and caters music selections based on her student's interests.
Erin enjoys playing both violin and viola with her ensemble, specializing in weddings and special events. She will work with you well before your event date to understand your preferences and plan just the right music for your celebration.
